OONISHI LIEKO. Born in Tokyo in 1976. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Tokyo Zokei university. Majored in painting. Won the Zokei Prize (for the best artand design piece of the year) in 1999.
Became a member of an artist group called "MOVE" which intended to promotepublic art. Through it, participated in organizing art exhibitions includingthe "Metro Movement".
Became a freelance illustrator in 2005.
Won a prize at the 4th MOVE Art Management portfolio competition.
produces not only CG illustrations, but also wood printings, drawing,painting pieces. The original themes are expressed, which are based on legends and ancient stories.
Spent most of days in Kimono (Japanese traditional cloths).
